Our Delivery Services

Our Orders are shipped with a parcel courier company, they can be tracked if required.

When your order is dispatched, you will be emailed the information, which allows you to track your order.

48 Hour Express Courier service (small and large parcels)

48 Hour Pallet Service (large and bulky items)

Local Delivery Van Service (restricted areas) (large and bulky items)

We will use the relevant delivery service as listed above.  There are times when it may take 72 Hours for parcel deliveries due to the physical size of the item if it exceeds 1.5 meters in height or is very large in its circumference. 

Our Delivery Costs

All orders under £199

£9.99 Small order items, such as accessories, showers, taps.

£39.99 larger items, such as some radiators and heated towel rails, some furniture products.

£55.00 Bulky or heavy items, such as large shower trays, cubicles, worktops etc.

FREE for some orders over £199, this applies to small items that can dispatched by courier service.

Please Remember

  1. If an item has to be ordered from our supplier or manufacturer, it will be dispatched as soon as practical after we have received it.
  2. All the above delivery services are activated once your ordered items arrived with us.

Our Aim

At British Bathrooms we will try our hardest to ensure that all delivery standards are achieved to alleviate any possible hassle for you.   We do not have endless warehouse storage to stock all items all of the time.  Most orders will be ordered directly with our supplier or manufacturer.  If this is the case it will be stated on the products page showing the approximate time.


We recommend that you do not book your installation work to start until you have received and checked that your goods are correct.

On very rare occasions some items will need to be ordered directly with the factory, if this is the case we will inform you so you are aware of the extended delivery time.

Own Delivery Vehicles

We use our own delivery vans and drivers who deliver daily within a restricted area.  Our own vehicles are used on the larger orders, or orders with multiple fragile items.  We cover all or Essex & Kent, London and other areas.

Once we agree a delivery slot for your order, our driver or delivery team will be in touch to arrange delivery to ensure someone is on hand to receive and check your goods.

Manufacturers Deliveries

Zehnder/Bisque/Chatsworth - Please note items from these brands are sometimes put on a direct delivery depending on the day of order.

If the product is to be ordered from the manufacturer to us, as soon as we receive it, it shall be sent out on the chosen service.

Returns Policy

If for any reason you would like to return an item within 7 working days of receiving the delivery (with the exception of special orders or special finishes, as you have instructed us to order these items specifically for you and therefore cannot be cancelled under any circumstances) you should do the following: send us an email: with your reason. The cost to safely and securely return the goods to us lies solely with the customer.

Return of Goods

These items must be received by us in the perfect condition in which they were sent to you and accompanied by the order confirmation.  Upon inspection of goods, if not in perfect condition i.e. they have been fitted or attempted to be fitted or damaged in any way, or the packaging is defaced or damaged and deemed not in a resalable condition, goods will be inspected, photographed, and a report will be sent to the customer only by email explaining the facts.  The customer will then have a choice to either ask for them to be returned to themselves (you will need to pay the carriage) or ask us to request the goods to be collected and returned to the Supplier for them to inspect.  Please note you must inform us within 7 Days as to you preference, if you fail to inform us we will dispose of the goods and no further refund will be issued. In these rare circumstances, a refund will only be issued if the Supplier is satisfied with the condition of goods and issues a credit.  Please be aware this process can take up to 60 days.  British Bathrooms will not be liable for postage, shipping or taxes due on returned goods. Please take into account postage and shipping times when returning goods.

Special Orders

Special orders or Special finishes on certain items, or made-to-order furniture cannot be cancelled at all once ordered, as you have instructed us to process the order on your behalf.  We strongly recommend you to check the relevant details on the items you are ordering, if you have any doubt email or call our sales team for more information.

We regret that if you do not follow the returns procedure set out above, British Bathrooms cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of returned goods so we recommend you get a certificate of posting from the Post Office.

If an item has been returned for any reason other than a product fault or a mistake on the part of British Bathrooms, you will be refunded the cost of the goods, provided that the goods are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you, save that we shall be entitled to deduct all postal charges from the amount refunded plus a 20% restocking charge.

If you wish to return a defective item to us then you must inform us by of any transit damage, shortages and incorrect goods within 24 hours from the date of delivery AND reject the goods at the point of delivery. You must not sign for goods as UNCHECKED and you must not allow the delivery driver to leave without first checking all of your goods. We cannot be held responsible for items that subsequently appear damaged if they have been signed for and if the fault is not a manufacturing fault of the item(s). You must report defects in goods to us by email within 48 hours from the date of delivery. Where we have received notification within the correct deadline, we will then (at your option) replace or exchange the goods or refund the price of the item. Items that have been fitted or attempted to be fitted, used, missing or incomplete packaging or are not otherwise in a resalable condition cannot be accepted for refund or return.  Please note the return of none faulty goods incur a restocking charge of 20%
